On January 20, students of our preparatory Bili course “Business studies” in year 11 had the chance to interview Tim Elmenthaler (Tim´s Kaffee), a former student of our school.
Before Tim graduated in 2021, he had already started an online coffee shop at the age of 17. He was inspired by his experience gained at a small coffee roastery in Peru/South America.
Our students applied their freshly gained knowledge about drawing up a business plan in their Bili lessons. They flooded Tim with questions about his own startup – such as the legal business type chosen, the product’s uniqueness, his motivation, types of funding, marketing and management. And most importantly: the reasons for Tim’s decisions and his experience. Tim plans to study Business Administration at university keeping his “part-time job” as a coffee entrepreneur.
What an inspiring first-hand insight for our Bili students.
Thank you Tim and all the best for your business as well as your university studies to come.
