From May 6th to 8th, 2025, two colleagues visited the “Fenix Kultur- och Kunskapscentrum” in Vaggeryd, Sweden, as part of the Erasmus+-program. Our colleagues received a warm welcome and had an inspiring stay.
During their visit, they had the opportunity to observe lessons and were actively involved in the classroom activities. The exchange with students and teachers regarding the differences and similarities between Sweden and Germany, especially concerning societal and educational issues, was particularly enriching. They were impressed by the relaxed learning atmosphere, the small class sizes, and the free lunch provided. A visit to a local electronics company also offered valuable insights into the Swedish education system.
A joint barbecue evening with several colleagues, in typical Swedish style, fostered friendly relationships. Both sides expressed a desire to initiate a collaborative exchange project in the future. Our colleagues are returning with many new impressions and ideas and are grateful for the fascinating experiences they had in Sweden.
