On April 30, 2026, at 11:30 a.m., we will welcome Tagesschau news anchor Damla Hekimoglu to our auditorium for a talk on journalism, press freedom, and democracy.
Ms. Hekimoglu will speak about her work, the process by which news is produced, and the vital importance of press freedom for a functioning democracy. It is an excellent and valuable opportunity to gain insight and ask questions. We are very much looking forward to it.
