Our guiding principles
Voluntarines
Counselling is only effective when the individual is genuinely open to receiving it and actively engages in the process. For this reason, participation in counselling is always voluntary.
Confidentiality
One-on-one conversations are strictly confidential. Students can trust that anything they share will remain private. Information will only be passed on to others with the explicit consent of the individual, and only when it contributes to resolving a situation.
Neutrality
As educational counsellors, we are part of the school system, but we remain impartial in our work. We are open to all perspectives involved in a conflict, we do not take sides, we do not judge, and we preserve our neutrality.
Empowerment and self-help
Our role is to guide and support students in developing their own solutions. We do not provide ready-made answers but instead work collaboratively with students to identify strategies that fit their individual needs and circumstances.
