Following my banking apprenticeship and subsequent work as a personal banking advisor at a bank in Schleswig-Holstein, I studied Business Education and Mathematics at the Humboldt University in Berlin. After completing my master’s degree and second state examination, I taught as a vocational school teacher at the Upper Secondary Center for Banking, Real Estate, and Insurance in Berlin. In 2017, I joined the BS11 in Hamburg. From February 2021 to July 2022, I worked at the Hamburg Institute for Vocational Education (HIBB) as a consultant for commercial and administrative professions and BHH study programs, focusing on curriculum development. Since August 1, 2022, I have been the Head of Department for Banking and BHH.
