1st Place at the InnoWard 2026: BS 11’s Learning Platform prxms.de Wins Award
On 8 October 2026, our colleague Mr Herburg and BS 11 were honoured with the InnoWard 2026 at biko 2026, the education congress of the insurance industry in Berlin. The expert audience voted our project “prxms.de – Lasst uns rechnen” first place in the category Initial Vocational Training.
A Gain for Training in the Company and at School
Until now, there has been very little freely accessible practice material for trainee insurance and financial investment clerks (Kaufleute für Versicherungen und Finanzanlagen), especially for calculation exercises. prxms.de closes this gap and supports trainees specifically in their exam preparation:
- 11 exam-relevant learning fields, from premium calculation to business processes
- A task generator that creates every exercise anew with random values, allowing unlimited practice without repetition
- Targeted feedback on incorrect answers
- Free of charge, no registration required, and optimised for the iPad
Training companies can hand the portal to their trainees with no effort. It can be used independently of the vocational school and is suitable for learning at the company, at school and on the go.
Developed with Our Trainees
The platform is created not only for, but together with our trainees. They contribute ideas, check exercises and approve them. Over 250,000 page views in April 2026 alone show how great the need is. The jury highlighted that prxms.de combines technical innovation with consistent user orientation and offers clear added value compared with conventional exercise pools.
For Our Students
You tested, contributed ideas and helped shape it. This award belongs to you, too. Try out prxms.de and keep giving us your feedback!
Thanks
Our special thanks go to our colleague Mr Herburg, who has built the project since April 2025 with great commitment and expertise and continues to develop it. We also thank the BWV and the jury for the award and congratulate all other award winners, especially the Robert-Schuman-Berufskolleg Dortmund and Itzehoer Versicherungen in our category.
