Team Spirit, Action and Pure Energy: The First Volleyball Tournament of Our Vocational Upper Secondary School and IVK Classes
A sporting highlight that brought the entire school community together: On 1 July, the classes of our Vocational Upper Secondary School and the International Preparatory Classes (IVK) competed for the coveted tournament title in a packed sports hall. Alongside impressive sporting performances, fairness and team spirit were at the heart of the event.
The exciting atmosphere could be felt as soon as people entered the hall. The classes had been preparing for weeks, developing tactics and forming their teams. The fact that the entire tournament ran smoothly from beginning to end was thanks to the tireless efforts of our organising team: Franziska Rießelmann, Franca Dambmann and Florian Block.
Special thanks also go to our trainee teachers and student teachers. They provided the organising team with tremendous support both in the preparation phase and throughout the tournament. Thanks to excellent teamwork, the event became an unforgettable experience.
Well-Deserved Tournament Victory for Team “Multivitamin” from Class VS28/3
After a series of exciting preliminary-round matches, the favourites for the final quickly emerged. In the end, Team Multivitamin from class VS28/3 proudly took the winner’s trophy home.
The class thoroughly deserved first place. They impressed the school community not only with their outstanding volleyball skills, but above all with their excellent teamwork. Second place went to Team United Smashers from IVK 24.5, who proved to be very strong runners-up.
A Strong Statement for Fair Play: Special Awards from “Two finger apparel”
The absolute highlight of this year’s award ceremony was the presentation of two very special prizes. This initiative was supported and sponsored by the volleyball fashion brand Two finger apparel.
The refereeing team was not concerned with points or rankings, but with outstanding social behaviour both on and off the court.

- “Teamwork in Motion” – for exemplary fair play towards the referees and opposing teams
Once again, the tournament showed how sport brings people together and breaks down barriers. We are proud of the performances on display and are already looking forward to the rematch next year!
