Haspa Marathon 2026
The participation of our staff from the BS11 St. Pauli faculty in the 40th Haspa Marathon in Hamburg will remain etched in our memories for a long time to come. We gathered as early as 7:45 a.m. at Feldstraße underground station, setting off together on foot toward the start and finish area—an auspicious beginning to a truly special day.
One of the undeniable highlights was the 40th birthday of our colleague Nick, who celebrated this milestone in the most fitting way imaginable: by running the race and crowning the occasion with his participation. The day could hardly have been marked in a more memorable fashion.
The weather, too, was on our side: radiant sunshine and pleasantly mild temperatures of up to 16°C provided ideal conditions. Along the course, the atmosphere was nothing short of electric—countless spectators offered tireless encouragement, virtually carrying us across the finish line.
In the end, every single one of us made it—a remarkable team achievement that each and every participant can take pride in. At the finish area, we celebrated together: medals around our necks, isotonic drinks in hand, and light refreshments to round off this extraordinary experience in style.
A truly unique event that will stay with us for years to come. It was an honour—until next time!
You’ll Never Walk Alone
