As part of the Erasmus+ programme, I completed an internship abroad in Mallorca, Spain. The objective of this internship was to gain practical insights into legal work processes, expand my professional skills, and acquire international work experience.
The internship took place from 8 October 2025 to 19 November 2025 at a law firm in Mallorca. During my stay, I gained comprehensive insights into various legal fields and workflows.
My responsibilities included assisting in the preparation of legal documents, in particular drafting statements of facts, preparing and structuring case files, and reviewing and organising relevant documents. In addition, I accompanied the lawyers in their daily work and was able to participate in meetings, which provided me with practical exposure to different areas of law.
I worked in several areas of legal practice and, as a result, became familiar with the entire process of legal proceedings—from the creation of case files to the preparation of legal submissions. In doing so, I was able to significantly improve my attention to detail, sense of responsibility, and understanding of legal terminology.
Another important aspect of the internship was the international working environment. Through daily interaction with legal professionals as well as clients, I was able to considerably enhance my Spanish language skills, particularly in a legal context. At the same time, I further developed my intercultural competence and independence.
In conclusion, the internship abroad in Mallorca was an extremely valuable experience. The combination of practical legal work, an international environment, and personal development enriched me both professionally and personally and represents an important foundation for my future career path.
Thank you very much for this excellent opportunity.
