Next! – Homeland Security

On 11 December 2025, starting at 11:45 a.m., we will be welcoming a visit from three-star general Mr André Johannes Bodemann, who will inform our school community about key issues in German and European security policy.

Mr André Johannes Bodemann serves as Deputy Commander of the Bundeswehr’s Operational Command and as Commander for Territorial Tasks. Especially for young people, it is essential to understand that security cannot be taken for granted. How does the Bundeswehr protect our country in everyday life? What role does it play in disaster relief, cyber defence, and the protection of critical infrastructure? Under the overarching theme “Safeguarding Freedom – Today and Tomorrow: A Behind-the-Scenes Perspective,” Mr Bodemann will provide insight into his work.

The lecture will take place in the auditorium of the Vocational School St. Pauli. Following his presentation, Mr Bodemann will be available to answer questions from the audience.
