Erasmus+ Training Course in Malta – Learning English Under the Sun

During the first week of the autumn break, we—two colleagues from our school, Heike Schmidt and Sylvia Leid—took part in an Erasmus+ language training course in Malta.

Over the course of the week in St. Julian’s, we deepened our command of English and exchanged ideas with teachers from various European countries. In addition to the intensive language lessons, the programme offered intercultural activities that brought the European spirit vividly to life.

Conversations with colleagues from different educational systems provided us with valuable new impulses for our own teaching practice. The picturesque island of Malta, with its fascinating history and culture, further contributed to an experience in which learning and exploration went hand in hand.

We returned with a wealth of new impressions, strengthened language skills, and renewed motivation. Once again, the Erasmus+ programme demonstrated just how enriching international professional development can be for teachers and schools alike.
