Last Sunday, the moment finally arrived. Under glorious sunshine, a strong team of twelve participants – forming three relay teams – took on the Haspa Relay Marathon 2025 in Hamburg. It felt as if summer had made an early appearance in the city.

The fantastic weather contributed to the team’s cheerful and upbeat mood. Laughter, good vibes, and last-minute tips filled the air just before the start. For some, it was even their very first time taking part. A big thank you to Josh and Dani, who jumped in on very short notice due to two last-minute cancellations.

Everyone met punctually at the agreed meeting point. Together, we watched the opening of the race and cheered on the first runners as they set off. Thanks to live location tracking, it was easy to stay informed on each leg’s progress and plan accordingly. We moved between changeover points in small groups to ensure smooth coordination at all times.

At around 2:00 p.m., we all crossed the finish line together – full of pride and joy. You should all be very proud of what you’ve achieved. The celebration at the finish line, complete with a few well-earned isotonic drinks, was a fitting conclusion to a successful day.

Once again, it was an unforgettable experience for everyone involved – a truly perfect day.

Thank you to all who helped make it happen.

You’ll Never Walk Alone!
