Class Trip to Brussels
From 1 to 5 June, our class BG27/3 travelled to Brussels together with our class teachers, Ms Otto and Ms Nieswandt. Our class trip was an exciting and educational experience.
A special part of the programme was our visit to the European Parliament, to which we were invited by Member of the European Parliament Niclas Herbst. There, we gained interesting insights into the work of parliamentarians. We also had the opportunity to speak with Mr Herbst in person and ask him questions about current European and global politics, as well as topics that interested us.
During various excursions, we explored the city of Brussels together and visited a number of sights. One of them was the Atomium, which we were also able to visit from the inside.
Of course, spending time together was not neglected either. We went out for meals, went bowling and organised various activities independently in our free time. A particular highlight was our visit to an amusement park, where we ended the week with lots of fun on the final day of the trip.
Overall, the class trip was a successful combination of education, community and leisure activities, and it will remain a happy memory for a long time.
