Democracy in Action at BS11

Today, the Democracy Shapers Tour organised by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation made a stop at BS11, and the Democracy Bus quickly became a vibrant hub for dialogue, exchange, and civic engagement. A remarkable number of students and teachers seized the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations, ask questions, and reflect on pressing social and political issues.

The many encounters and discussions throughout the day demonstrated the strong interest our school community has in democratic processes and active participation. As an educational initiative, the event provided a highly valuable learning experience by making democracy tangible and encouraging critical thinking, open debate, and active involvement.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Konrad Adenauer Foundation for its outstanding organisation and for bringing this unique and inspiring programme to our school. We are delighted by the success of this event and by the strong commitment to democratic values that it fostered among all participants.
