Bachelor’s Certificate Ceremony at City Hall
A moment of distinction: the conferment of bachelor’s degrees for the inaugural cohort of the integrated study and training program in partnership with the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences for Vocational Education.
On 29 August 2025, the first bachelor’s certificates were awarded at Hamburg City Hall. What began in 2018 as a project group at the Hamburg Institute for Vocational Education (HIBB) has now reached a remarkable milestone with yesterday’s graduates. The pioneering young professionals have thus attained two qualifications, with their vocational certificate already conferred last year.
This first cohort has experienced many of the formative processes that, in the meantime, have been finely tuned between companies, vocational schools, and the university. The promise has held true: 0 tuition fees, 1 young professional, 2 qualifications in 4 years.
Yesterday we bid farewell to an exceptional group of students. Next week, we will extend a warm welcome to the fifth cohort as part of the official first-semester reception at BHH. In the Business Administration program with a focus on Financial Economics and Banking Management, we look forward to nearly 70 new students.
